Nelson Müller, born in Ghana and raised in Germany, is a renowned star chef, restaurateur, and singer. After completing his training as a chef in Stuttgart, he gained experience in top restaurants such as the “Résidence” in Essen. Since 2009, he has been running the successful “Schote” restaurant in Essen, which was awarded a Michelin star from 2011 to 2025.

With his new restaurant in the Hotel Morgenroth, Nelson Müller brings his philosophy of happiness and simplicity to Thuringia. By focusing on regional ingredients and sustainable cuisine, he creates dishes that not only delight the palate but also promote well-being.
